Who doesn’t love freshly baked Peach Crisp topped with vanilla ice cream?! This crisp is made with fresh peaches and topped with a brown sugar topping. Delicious! If you’re looking to spice it up a little, try out my Blueberry Peach Crisp!
Ingredients
- 4 C. fresh peaches (or nectarines), peeled and sliced
- ¼ C. granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. corn starch
Topping:
- 1 C. all-purpose flour
- ½ C. brown sugar
- ¼ C. granulated sugar
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- 6 Tbsp. butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350℉ and grease an 8″x8″ or 9″ pie pan. In a large mixing bowl, stir together peeled and sliced peaches, sugar, and corn starch. Pour the fruit mixture into the prepared pan.
- In the same bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter with a fork. The mixture will not be completely wet but more sand-like.
- Clump together some of the topping in your hands and sprinkle it onto the prepared fruit.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit mixture is bubbling through in the middle of the pan. Let cool slightly then top Peach Crisp with vanilla ice cream! Our favorite is Blue Bunny Vanilla Bean! 😋
