Cast Iron Skillet Pizza!

Using a cast iron skillet has become my favorite way to make homemade pizza. It makes the crust perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Grab your favorite pizza toppings and let’s make Cast Iron Skillet Pizza!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkt. pizza crust- my favorite is this
  • pizza sauce- I use around ½ C.
  • 2 C. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • pepperoni, or your other favorite pizza toppings

Directions

Preheat oven to 450℉. Lightly grease a 10″ or 12″ cast iron skillet with 1 Tbsp. of olive oil. Make the pizza crust dough according to the package and spread evenly into a 10″ or 12″ cast iron skillet.

Spread ½ C. of your favorite pizza sauce evenly onto the dough. Add pepperoni slices or your other favorite pizza toppings and mozzarella cheese.

Bake pizza for 18-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is starting to brown.
