Summer is HERE! ☀️ What better beverage to feel refreshed on a hot day by the pool than The Best Homemade Lemonade! It’s amazing on it’s own, or try to spice it up with a little sprite and some raspberry syrup!
- 1½ C. freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 6-7 large lemons)
- 1 C. granulated sugar
- 6 C. water
- Slice and juice lemons. I use a lemon squeezer like this. Pour lemon juice into the bottom of a 2 quart pitcher. Add in the sugar and stir until combined.
- Fill the pitcher to the 2 quart line (or approximately 6 cups) with water. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Top with some ice and additional lemon slices if desired. Enjoy! The Best Homemade Lemonade is good for up to a week in the fridge (if it lasts that long!)
My drink of the summer this year has been almost a full glass of lemonade, topped off with sprite, and then a splash of raspberry syrup!
