Snickerdoodle Bread!

Snickerdoodle Bread is a yummy quick bread, perfect for fall! Your house will smell amazing! It has a delicious cinnamon sugar topping and it’s filled with Hershey’s cinnamon chips. 😋


  • 1 C. butter, softened
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 3 C. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 pkg. Hershey’s cinnamon baking chips
  • 2 Tbsp. flour


  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 350℉ and grease 2 loaf pans. These would also make yummy muffins, you’d just have to adjust the baking time to probably 13-15 minutes!
  2. In a stand mixer, cream softened butter and sugar for about 2 minutes, or until really fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one. Mix in vanilla and sour cream until combined.
  3. Add in flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon and mix on medium until just combined, do not overmix. Coat cinnamon chips in 2 Tbsp. flour and stir into the batter (I pour my flour right into the bag of cinnamon chips and gently shake it).
  4. Spoon the batter into greased pans, be sure not to fill over ⅔ full or they will drip over. Combine cinnamon and sugar for the topping and sprinkle over the tops of the batter.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove to completely cool on a cooling rack.
